Building Investigation and Repair

The first step to understanding a building’s symptoms often involves an investigation. This can range from a low-impact (non-invasive) visual inspection to a large multi-phase invasive testing program necessary to define multiple leak sources. Using cutting-edge technology such as Thermal Imaging we can quickly, and with minimal impact, determine areas requiring follow-up testing. Following a systematic approach we can quickly diagnose key issues requiring repair.

After the inspection is complete and the defect sources are discovered, the next step is preparing a scope of repair. Depending on the magnitude, we provide building envelope repair details and offer pre-qualified contractors experienced in this type of work. Once the repair has been priced, we provide several resolution services, if necessary, including expert testimony and litigation support. We also work with banks and finance institutions as their qualified representatives to help them understand the issues involving loans or refinancing. When the finances have been assembled, we can oversee the construction process as the Construction Manager or Owner’s representative. In this role, we manage the contractor, design team, and quality control inspectors. We also offer resident coordination services in occupied buildings.

Regardless of your building’s needs or repair programs, we can offer the solution that works for you.

We utilize strong project management to facilitate all phases of the process.
