Worked on a series of Requests for Equitable Adjustments (REA) for "Micropile"
installation on this Bay Area Bridge upgrade. The requests were
for damages suffered due to project changes, prime contractor work
sequencing, and loss of key production equipment due to an accidental
"drop" midway through the project work. Successful resolution was
achieved by an overall analysis of these impacts, apportioned damage
assessments, and a series of settlement events and proceedings with
insurers, owner agents, and prime contractor representatives.
