James F. Glaser has over 30 years of
field experience in the construction industry.
He began work at Champion International with duties that
included surveying, drafting, layout, and supervising
crews in road and bridge construction. He was also
involved with timber harvesting techniques and the
implementation of high explosives.
In 1984 he began work for J.P. Francis & Associates as
an Estimator, Project Superintendent, and Field
Supervisor. The projects, private and publicly funded,
ranged in size from $300,000 to $10 million. Most of
these were difficult industrial and commercial projects
requiring innovative estimating and construction
management approaches.
Jim’s most recent experience with Edifice Construction
was serving as Project Engineer on schools and high-end,
fast track tenant improvement projects. His duties on
these projects included review of design plans for
overall quality and constructability, shop drawing
submittal, oversight, expediting on-site field problems
and preparing project closeout documentation.
Jim brings extensive, hands-on experience directly
supervising field personnel on a day-to-day basis.
Drawing from the strength of that experience, Jim then
manages and administers projects with positive results
for contractors, subcontractors, owners, and architects. |
